APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance) is the standard industry model for multi-day and overnight superyacht charters. It is a pre-paid budget — typically 25–35% of the charter fee — held by the captain during the voyage. It covers fuel consumption, provisioning, port fees, and crew operating expenses. Any unspent APA is fully refunded at the end of the charter.

APA applies to multi-day charters (24h+) on vessels 75 ft and above, offshore cruises beyond standard routes, and charters with a private chef requiring provisioning budget.
