The Dilemma — Two Fireworks, One Decision

Our recommendation

You cannot be at both locations simultaneously. The two displays run at the same time and the locations are 45 minutes apart by sea. Our recommendation: the Atlantis position offers a more intimate, less congested experience with fireworks launching directly above the water. The Burj Khalifa position delivers spectacular scale — the world's most-watched countdown — viewed from a greater distance. If you want both: cruise between locations during the evening, arrive at your chosen position by 11:30 PM. After midnight, transit back toward Marina begins around 12:30–1:00 AM.

Booking Terms

NYE Booking Terms — Non-Refundable Policy

Standard cancellation policies do not apply on December 31. Read carefully before booking.

Why Deposits Are Non-Refundable

The vessel is committed the moment your booking is confirmed and cannot be re-sold after a short window. Crew deployment is scheduled 30+ days in advance. Port Authority slot is assigned at booking. Once confirmed, the operator bears full costs regardless of your cancellation.

NYE Payment Schedule

50% deposit required at booking — non-refundable after confirmation. Balance due December 1 (30 days before the event). No free cancellation window exists for NYE bookings. Enquiries without deposit are held for 48 hours only, then released back to availability.

Weather Policy — NYE Edition

Dubai averages fewer than 2 rainy days in December. Fireworks are not cancelled for light rain. In past years, rare wind events have led to official cancellation (Dubai Media Office announcement) — in this case, full refund or credit is issued. Force majeure (government-mandated cancellation): full credit for future use. The onboard experience continues regardless of weather conditions.

Our NYE fleet sells out every year without exception. The timeline below is based on historical fill rates.

Nearly a third of the fleet is already reserved. Large group bookings and premium vessels go first. Best selection and all vessel classes still available.

The majority of the fleet is committed. Mid-range vessels in the 62–75 ft class fill quickly due to the 20–40 guest sweet spot for NYE group sizes.

By November 1

85%+ Booked

Limited options remain. In 2024, the fleet was fully committed by November 10. December enquiries are only accommodated if a prior booking falls through — which is rare, as deposits are non-refundable.

The Itinerary

Your Route to the Midnight Spectacle

Every NYE package is a 6-hour charter: 9 PM – 3 AM. The route below is our standard NYE plan, adjusted per captain judgment on the night based on Port Authority positioning instructions and your chosen fireworks location.

9 PM – 11 PM: Departure & Skyline Cruise

Phase One — 2 hours

Departure from Dubai Harbour. The captain navigates past the lit towers of Dubai Marina and JBR while the crew serves welcome drinks. This is your settling-in window — the city is already buzzing. Ain Dubai glows to the north. Passengers choose their deck position. The atmosphere builds steadily as midnight approaches.

11 PM – 1 AM: Fireworks Position & Countdown

Phase Two — 2 hours

By 11:30 PM the captain holds position in the designated fireworks viewing zone. Atlantis position: 300–500 m off the Palm outer crescent. Burj Khalifa position: off Jumeirah Beach with a clear northeast sightline. The crew pours champagne at 11:55 PM. At midnight, the fireworks begin. This is a private fireworks yacht cruise — no crowds, no traffic, no barriers. Both Atlantis and Burj Khalifa displays run simultaneously for approximately 8–10 minutes.

1 AM – 3 AM: Post-Fireworks & Return

Phase Three — 2 hours

After the display, the captain begins a slow cruise back toward the marina. This 2-hour window keeps you on the water while land traffic is at its worst. Music continues, the bar stays open, and the city lights from the water are worth extending the night for. Disembarkation at Gate 4 (Dubai Marina) or Dubai Harbour — confirmed 48 hours before the event. VIP transfer can be pre-booked to meet you dockside.

Post-Midnight Traffic Reality

Dubai Marina is extremely congested from midnight to 2 AM on January 1. All road routes toward the marina are subject to partial closure. Taxi wait times run 30–60 minutes after midnight in the Marina area. Our recommendation: plan for a late return (2 AM+) or arrange VIP transfer in advance when you book the yacht.

All vessels return to Gate 4 (Dubai Marina) or Dubai Harbour by arrangement. Disembarkation is coordinated with the Port Authority NYE schedule. Expected disembarkation time is communicated to all guests 48 hours before the event. Your crew handles all documentation and port clearance.

No. NYE packages are fixed. All 25 vessels are committed at fixed rates months in advance. There is no off-season pricing on December 31. The market is simple: more people want to be on the water than boats can carry, and the fleet fills without exception every year.

We hold a vessel for 48 hours without deposit on request. After 48 hours, availability cannot be guaranteed and the vessel returns to the open inventory. Given historical fill rates — 85%+ booked by November 1 — a 48-hour hold is often the most we can offer in the high season.

However, Burj Khalifa is a land-based structure approximately 2 km inland from the coastline. The view is spectacular but at distance. The Atlantis fireworks launch directly over the water from the Palm crescent and are preferred by most of our guests for proximity and intimacy.

Yes, for guests 21+. Every package includes a champagne toast at midnight. A full onboard bar service (spirits, mixers, wine, additional champagne) is available as an add-on throughout the charter.
